My most used and/or repurchased beauty products of 2012...

The following will be a list of products that I absolutely loved this past year. They were my most used and repurchased products of 2012 and most of them have stayed in my daily makeup routine.

To kick off this list I want to start off with my most used FACE products:

Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel: This was definitely a stand out product for me this past year. I'm constantly in search of a great moisturizer due to the fact that I have a very oily T-zone area. It gave amazing hydration to my skin without the greasy or heavy feeling. You can find this product at any major department store such as Macy's or Dillard's for about $24.00. However if you are in the market for a very similar product that is more budget friendly try using the Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer.

SKIN79 SUPER+ BB TRIPLE FUNCTIONS CREAM: This product can be used on its own or with other makeup products. I personally use this after I have already moisturized my face. I use this product as a primer/base for my foundation. I love the mattifying effect it has on my skin. As I said this product can be worn on its own but be warned this cream is extremely pale almost white in color as it does have a whitening agent. You can purchase this product at several different online sites. Such as Amazon, eBay or the Skin79 site for about $15.00

Revlon Colorstay Foundation: ( oily/combination skin formula) I chose to mix #200 Nude and #250 Fresh beige together in order to create the perfect shade of foundation that matched my skin.
Product sold at most drugstores for about $10.00

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer: I used this product for the first time last year and let me just say this concealer is really amazing. I use this to conceal darkness under my eyes and to highlight the bridge of my nose and chin area. Its very light and creamy. I haven't had any problems with it settling into any fine line or wrinkles. Awesome product that can be worn alone if you're in a rush in the morning.. Sold at most drugstores for about $7.00

Now moving on to brows and other face products I definitely have to mention the E.L.F BROW KIT in (medium) and the Maybelline define-a-brow pencil in (dark blonde) Both products are under $5.00 and well worth the money. Another product I discovered in 2012 that fit perfectly into my eyebrow routine was the NYX Push up bra for your eyebrow dual ended pencil one end is for filling in your brows which honestly I hardly used but the other end is to be used as a highlight. I used this end to help define my brows and also used it in the inner corners of my eyes to help brighten up my eyes and makeup look.  The NYX Collection Noir Black Liquid Liner and the Too Faced Shadow Insurance eyeshadow primer were also standout products of the year for me.

To finish off my list I of course have to mention a few lip products that were must haves in my makeup bag this past year. Starting off with the M.A.C cremesheen lipstick in Creme Cup. By far this has to be my all time favorite pink lipstick. In 2012 I finally decided to try more budget friendly drugstore lip products and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the Covergirl Lipstick in #395 Darling and the L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in #800 Fairest Nude. Both lipsticks are must haves if you enjoy light pinks and nude colored lipsticks. I love the fact that no matter how dramatic or natural your eye makeup is these lipsticks are neutral enough to go with anything you're wearing.
If you're more of a natural lip balm or light tint type of person then you definitely need to try any of the e.o.s. lip balms they are amazingly hydrating and not greasy or sticky at all. If you love lip balms that have a bit of a tint to it then make sure to try the Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms in pink punch and yummy plummy. I make sure to always carry at least one of these lip balms in my purse at all times.

I hope this little review of my 2012 favorites helps you find some new treasures for your makeup bag!
