Took a trip to my local drugstore last night and picked up a few items that I have been really wanting to try. Some of the products I purchased are deluxe sample sized or travel sized. I refuse to pay full price for a product I've never tried. I always make sure to do my research and try samples or buy the travel sizes first. Therefore if I don't like it or have a reaction to it I have only spent a few dollars compared to the full ticket price. I will be doing a full review on each product once I've used them.
These are all the items I purchased!
For the past few months I've been thinking that it is time I change up my hair color. Several years ago I had my hair professionally dyed blonde which in my opinion actually looked pretty well on me due to my very light complexion. Although I don't think I would ever go that light again I do want a change from my usual dark brown hair color. However I am not really a fan of spending over $100 dollars just to get my hair done so I decided I would try something from the drugstore that I can do at home. So while I was shopping yesterday I stopped by the hair dye section and browsed through all of the different brands and colors and came across the L'oreal Sublime Mousse.
Honestly other than the color selection what caught my attention was the new Mousse formula application that it comes with. It is supposed to be as easy as applying shampoo. So We'll see how it works out and I will post a review.
Aside from hair color I've been in the market for a new mascara that will truly give me more length and volume and a brow grooming product for my freelance makeup kit. After doing some research and reading reviews I decided to try the new L'oreal Telescopic mascara and the Ardell brow wax pencil.
While in the beauty section I found a few other products that I felt were worth a try. Including the brow pencil from Essence and the Rimmel scandaleyes pencil in nude which I plan using in my lower waterline to give me the appearance of a more awake/ bright-eyed look.
I also picked up a new facial cleanser, some oil silk drops that can be used to add shine to your hair or used on the skin for a silky soft finish (I love multi-purpose products because you get more for your money). I've heard great things about the Curel daily moisture lotion for dry skin and the Secret clinical strength deodorant.
I will let you all know how the products worked out for me but always remember every person has a different skin type and different body chemistry so what may work or not work on me could possibly work better for you. If any of you have any questions about the products that I am mentioning or any other products that you would like me to try and review please do not hesitate to let me know.
Wishing you all a lovely day!
