Easy Cheesy Chicken Recipe

Greetings from my kitchen to yours,
So a several days ago I was thinking about what to make for dinner and I was drawing a blank. So I checked my pantry and decided to make some chicken and rice but I wanted to make it in a different way and use what I had in my pantry.

Here's what I used to season the chicken and make a sauce for it.


I chopped the chicken into cubes and browned it with a little Olive oil, seasoned it with a little pepper, cumin, pinch of salt and I added half a cup of water. Then once the chicken cooked out most of the water I added half a jar of the Pace restaurant style original salsa and then felt that it needed an extra kick and and wanted it to have a thicker sauce so I added half a jar of the salsa con queso. You can never go wrong with a little cheese! I then served the cheesy chicken over some homemade spanish rice and added a side of avocado slices. The avocado really gave it an awesome flavor.


This is not a fancy meal by any means but it was pretty damn delicious and super easy and affordable to make. Hope you all liked the recipe and please let me know what you think if you try it out at home.
